CENTURY 21 Edge was built on a simple, but powerful belief: people come first—always. Our story starts with Kevin Johnson, a former real estate agent with a CENTURY 21 office who loved the brand but saw something missing in the brokerage world: heart. After years in the hospitality industry with companies like Hilton and Disney, Kevin knew firsthand that the true magic of any business isn’t in the brand name or the building—it’s in the people. It’s in the team. And in real estate, too often, agents were treated like numbers, not the soul of the business.

So in 2014, he left and launched his own brokerage, OneBlue Real Estate, with a mission to do things differently—to build something agent-centric, people-powered, and rooted in real values. He invited his former employee (and incredibly loyal teammate), John Carpenter, to join as a partner, and together, they began rewriting what a real estate company could be.

From day one, the vision was clear: treat agents like family, build a culture of care, and never stop evolving. And it worked.

When CENTURY 21 approached in 2019 with the opportunity to join the global brand, it was an easy yes. The values aligned, the timing was right, and the opportunity to pair a strong local company with the most respected name in real estate was a no-brainer. Since affiliating, we’ve proudly earned the CENTURY 21 Quality Service Pinnacle Award every single year.

Today, CENTURY 21 Edge is home to nearly 100 real estate professionals from all walks of life—diverse in background, beliefs, and experience, but united in purpose.
